Synopsis

The Turtles are practicing their martial arts to ZZ Top's Can't Stop Rockin' and dancing. Raphael interrupts the fun by throwing his sai into the fuse box, causing the music to stop. He questions his purpose for living still. April arrives with some flea market stuff because she's planning on a vacation and wants to give her turtle friends some souvenirs. One of them is a scepter meant for Splinter. April just thinks it's just an ancient antique, but someone from feudal Japan activates the scepter causing April to be teleported to ancient Japan, and the Japanese man who activated it, is sent to New York City where the two travelers exchange clothes. The Turtles have their buddy, Casey Jones, look after Splinter while they travel back in time to rescue April. Once they do get teleported, the turtles are caught in the middle of a samurai battle where they escape, but Michelangelo got separated and lost the scepter. Now the remaining three turtles must locate both April and reunite with Michelangelo. They manage to locate a daimyo's castle where April is being held prisoner. After sneaking around, they manage to rescue April and escape, and now to locate Mikey. They end up being guided to a village where battle is occurring and Michelangelo is there. After the battle, the turtles make themselves fit in with the locals and try to come up with a plan to rebuild the scepter and return home, but the young boy, Yoshi, reveals it from under a house and gives it to Raphael. Whit kidnaps Mitsu and takes the scepter from Leonardo. The turtles infiltrate Norinaga's castle and do battle against the Daimyo for the scepter. Luckily, the turtles manage to get the scepter before Walker tried to damage it by tossing it in the air. Now it's time to go home together. While all this was going on, Casey Jones in present day New York, introduces four samurai warriors from the past to present day life.
