While in South America, April is doing an archeological dig, where she finds Leonardo and converses with him about how life back in New York and his family are doing.  Back home, April has taken ninjitsu training under Master Splinter after buying a yellow ninja suite.  She has left her past as a journalist and distress behind her.  April uses his new ninja skills to fight Karai, while Casey and Splinter with the other turtles fight The Foot ninjas to rescue a captured Leonardo.
